So, went apple picking with Miss Karen down the street. Had a lot of fun and Michael was really the definition of GOOD:) We got tons of apples at only 69 cents a pound, so we've been doing a lot with apples lately. The other day, Geoff and I decided to try a hand at canning. It can be done with just a big pot and Mason Jars, which we had, so we tried and succeeded!!!Actually, I did most of it, Geoff just got the hot jars out of the hot water......But still....

Here we are picking said apples:)

While cooking, Michael built towers. he thought everyone should see his glorious works:)
I really think Michael and I will be enjoying this canning thing:)

They look lovely :) We had lots of fun last weekend making jams & chutneys.
Michael's towers look cool.
Daina,
Thanks for coming over to my blog and leaving a comment. I love that bag too. I wish I could find more of those sweaters.
These apple butters look yummy. I would like to try my hand at canning. I love strawberry jam. Maybe in the future after I get my quilt done, and my 50 bags that need to be done. Busy Busy Busy.
